City’s Mobile Office in Delft this week

09 September 2024

The City of Cape Town’s Mobile Office will be taking municipal services to Delft on Thursday, 12 September 2024. Residents will have access to a wide range of non-emergency enquiries such as rates, sewerage, electricity, water, refuse collections, and all other account enquiries. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity.

The details of the visit are as follows:

  • Thursday, 12 September 2024, from 09:30 to 13:30, at The Hague Recreational Hall, Cnr. Fort Worth Road and Delft Main Road in Delft.

The City's Customer Relations Department's mobile team will assist residents with logging queries and service requests electronically. Customers can engage with the City in a wide range of enquiries, including account enquiries.

'I encourage the residents from Delft to make use of this opportunity to resolve their municipal accounts or to make enquiries about the City's services, as well as to follow up on any outstanding matters. Those who wish to make use of the mobile office services must please remember to bring along their ID or municipal accounts to help ease the process,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services, Alderman Theresa Uys.

'Officials from the Revenue Department will also be present to offer advice with account queries and to give guidance on how to submit applications for social support, such as rates rebates for qualifying residents. They will be able to advise residents on the criteria, requirements, and supporting documents needed when they visit their local municipal Customer Interaction Centre to submit their applications. The City offers some of the most extensive social support to qualifying residents in the country and we encourage residents to find out more about the options,' said the City's Mayoral Committee Member for Finance, Councillor Siseko Mbandezi.
